Soulard Preservation Hall is located three blocks south of the famous Soulard Market in the heart of the historic Soulard Neighborhood. Known as an entertainment district with many shops, pubs and fine restaurants, the Soulard neighborhood hosts the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the U.S.

Soulard Preservation Hall is close to the downtown area and easily accessible from all the major highways in St. Louis.


From the South
  1. Take 55 North.
  2. Exit 207A Russell Blvd.
  3. Turn right on Russell (east).
  4. Go to S. 9th St.
  5. Turn left (north) on S. 9th St.
  6. Continue north just past Allen Ave. to 1921 S. 9th St. on the west side of the street.

  1. Take 70 East. Merge onto I55 S (Exit #251).
  2. Take the 7th Street Exit (#208) Turn left onto 7th Street.
  3. Pass the Soulard Market and Turn right onto Geyer Ave just before St. Peter and Paul Church.
  4. Turn Left onto 9th Street.
  5. Soulard Preservation is on the right at 1921 S. 9th St.

  1. Exit 7th St.
  2. Go south on 7th St. to Geyer Ave.
  3. Turn right (west) and go to 9th Street.
  4. Turn left (south) to 1921 S. 9th St.

  1. Exit 38A Jefferson Ave. Turn right onto Jefferson Ave
  2. Go south to Lafayette Ave. Turn left onto Lafayette Ave.
  3. Take Lafayette to S. 9th St. Turn left onto 9th Street
  4. Take S. 9th St. south 2.5 blocks to 1921 S. 9th St.

  1. Take 64/40 West
  2. Merge onto I-55 South. Take the 7th Street (Exit # 208)
  3. Turn Left onto 7th Street and pass Soulard Market
  4. Go south to Geyer Ave and turn onto Geyer just before St. Peter and Paul Church
  5. Turn right (east) go to 9th Street.
  6. Turn left on 9th Street (south) to 1921 S. 9th Street.
